Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Hanau Hyperscale Datacentre

Hanau is becoming Europe’s new digital powerhouse – and this is only the beginning.

With the groundbreaking ceremony for the Data4 Campus Hanau, one of Europe’s largest datacentre projects is now underway.
A €2 billion investment, 180 MW of capacity, 25 hectares of high-tech infrastructure – all powered by 100% decarbonised energy.

This means:
✅ Digital sovereignty – a European hub for cloud and AI
✅ Sustainability – waste heat feeding into Hanau’s district heating network, recycled building materials, BREEAM certification
✅ Jobs & growth – up to 1,000 new jobs for the Rhine-Main region

Frankfurt sets the pace with DE-CIX – Hanau will soon deliver the power.

This project demonstrates how technology, regional policy and sustainability work together to prepare Europe for the AI era.

At TTSP HWP, we are proud to be part of this pioneering development – from planning through to implementation. Together with Data4 and all partners, we are not only delivering a new datacentre, but helping to shape Europe’s digital future.
