arc data center, borsigallee, frankfurtextending digitalization on a former industrial wasteland

The site of a former metal processing plant in the east of Frankfurt which had lain fallow for years was acquired by an English investor. Permission was obtained to build a data center, to be built over time with several modules.

In addition to the technical data center areas, offices, conference rooms, delivery and workshop areas were planned.

The principal challenge of the project was to  very quickly obtain permission to develop a building that could be marketed to third parties.
